Compliance in Export Control of Dual-Use Items

Die Europäische Union überarbeitet zurzeit die Verordnung über die Umgang mit Dual Use-Produkten. Ziel ist es eine Gemeinschaftsregelung für die Kontrolle von Export, Transfer, Handel und Transport von Dual Use-Artikeln zu etablieren. Eines der wesentlichen Aspekte ist die Frage wie mit Comliance-Vorgaben für Exporteure umgegangen werden soll. Das Bundeswirtschaftsministeriumlädt diesbezüglich zu einer Diskussionsrunde nach Brüssel.

The European Union is currently undertaking a recast of Regulation (EC) No. 428/2009 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items. One major aspect of the recast is the question how to address compliance requirements for exporters under the new Regulation. In this regard, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy is inviting to a discussion forum regarding the practical aspects of compliance in dual-use export control.
